After playing into the early morning hours on Day Two, the nine remaining Seniors Event players gathered Wednesday to play for a World Series of Poker bracelet and $368,000. Final table action started slow, but as soon as play got to five-handed, one player rose to the occasion: Dan Lacourse.
Lacourse entered the final table with the second biggest stack.
Daniel LacourseAfter Lacourse was able to dismiss the most experienced player at the table, 2002 bracelet winner Fred Berger, Lacourse earned the chip lead with three players standing in the way of the bracelet. This would trigger a steamroll rarely seen at a seniors event.
